The fact is that any bow can throw you from a bridge, not just the Punch one.

THIS IS THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!
the power V bow is not anoying but the enemy shoot charged arrows
with 3 sec of charge
with punch bow players dont charge arrows just spam rigth click
and this destroy the pvp

for exaple

the diamond sword sharpness V has a 64 diamond price and you only deal 1 more hearth per hit
the punch bow are only 25 you can kill everybody, everytime, everywere

When somebody shoots you of a bridge while you spended like 250 dia... you shouldn't run on a bridge like a chicken without a head.

Neyeperdepep, we shot him off EASILY while he had full diamond armor after farming for an hour or something. Then he got mad and created this thread.

The price for the punch bow is pretty balanced in my opinion. I don't see the need of a change.

Let's try to stay on topic here and try not to derail a thread like what happened last time.

Anyways (On topic), i feel like the punch bow is fine as it is. Sure people do rush for mid just to quickly grab up 25 diamonds (Always happens on the map mine) and buy a punch bow, but you can just make a nice quick rush to their island before they do come back from mid (From my experience so far)

I feel like that ender pearls should be added to Normal eggwars (Normal items mode) for around a stack of diamonds i guess to make life a little bit more easier in normal items mode :p

It's a bit weird though when an item in normal items mode costs the same as if it were to be overpowered items. If enderpearls in Normal Items were to ever become a thing I'd suggest something like 1 stack and a half or 2 stacks of diamonds.

Hooray! You trapped someone who wasn't moving! I'd also like to mention that I don't think asking for a re-invite is 'rage quitting'. Apart from all of that, I'm just going to stop replying to you two since this is getting way off-topic. (If you ask or tell me that I was the one started replying, the simple reason is because I don't like it when people twist situations to try to get people to believe them. If you want some advice though, I suggest you either stop twisting situations because anyone can see that it's what you're doing or just simply not reply if you don't like to say the truth)

1-Make it more expensive:

Raise the price from 25 to 45.
the benefit that this bow gives you is too good compared to its price

Increase the price is not the solution. Punch bow price has already increased in the last Normal Eggwars update from 12 to 25 diamonds, but it didn't solve the problem. Also Increase the price of punch bow will only force more players to camp to get one.

2-Add a vote option anti punch bow:

So that it does not look strange alone, it could be complemented with other options, like in skywars

Don't remember what happened after they added No Projectiles vote to Skywars ? Simply, almost all games became without projectiles. There's no huge difference between add No Punch Bow vote and removing it.

3-Do as in lucky island and some bows:

Add to 3sec cooldown per arrow

Just NO.

We will all agree that the punch bow is extremely op.


This destroys the gaming experience since players easily with just a bow and a handful of arrows can kill you.
And is horrible spend 250 diamonds on good equipment when a player can shoot arrows and kill you by spending a few 25 diamonds

The reason why some players (like me) sometimes using punch bow as a main weapon rather than sword is to avoid endless fights especially in OP Items mode. Let's be honest why I have to fight someone who has full iron armors and stack of golden apples when I can use punch bow and throw him to the void.

If you ask me what is the best solution to reduce "bowspammers" I think the best ways to solve this is :

1-Increase the price of golden apples (Example: 3 gold for 1 golden apple) in OP and Normal Items mode, and nerf enchanted armor in OP Items mode (Except in Half Health mode) from protection 4 to protection 3. That would make kill someone with Sword/Axe/Power Bow easier and faster, and give players more choices to kill and end the fight quickly rather than only bowspamming.
2-Reduce shields price from 32 to 16 diamonds in Normal Items mode.
Not sure about this one but I will say it anyway
3-Add emerald generators to all Eggwars maps and make punch bow cost emeralds instead of diamonds (Example: 1 punch bow cost 8 emeralds).

No. The punch bow is not extremely OP. There are easy, cheaps ways to counter it.

They already upped the price from 12 diamonds to 25 diamonds, so I don't see why they should make it even more expensive. I'm fine with a cooldown, but don't see it as necessary.
