I believe you can do this, there's no rule against teaming. Just take it as a challenge when you come across a team :)

Teaming in solo gamemodes is not against the rules and is a valid strategy that makes the game more enjoyable for players. If you are struggling to combat teamers, I would suggest finding your own teammates to play with, or play team-based gamemodes.
