Right, apparently this section is also for feedback aswell as suggestions, who knew.
I feel like im raising a good point in saying this.
With the new knockback there is no balance, in java 1.8 there is block hitting (dont add this) which reduces the KB.
in the 1.9 version then there is cooldowns (dont add this) which makes it easier to escape combos yet they are still possible.
The problem with bedrock is that there is no natural solution for this due to limited controlls on mobile/controller
So far this has all been fact, now for the opinion.
Possible solutions?
Shields? No they deal 10 blocks of KB if you hit them 3 times (for java players that is not even an exaggeration)
Java shields? Honestly, shields in java are bad they have a small durability and have a cooldown slower than a sword if hit with an axe.
Customised shields? No even if you were to fix all the problems above then the crouching mechanic would make it redundant as you would take less knockback from crouching.
Blocking? Wouldnt work with small amounts of controlls (unless you completely remade the mobile keys and default controller keybinds.
Snowballs/rods? Think of the mobile players man, we have to remember this is bedrock, most the players online are kids.
Crouching? Bro you get hit half a block into the air per hit.
We need to make a natural counter for this that would work for all controlls otherwise the keyboard, controller and mobile players will be seperated, that is just a prediction and i dont want it to happen but the likelyhood is that it will happen.
Thank you for reading.
