You should add 2 gamemodes to TD, 1 for small parties (4 3v3 teams or 3 4v4 teams), and another for the true test (6 solos)

dude, you don't get what I want. What I want is to be able to exploit the 1 pixel difference between 1.8 jumps and 1.9+ jumps(1.9+ jumps are 1 pixel higher)

You can do something like only allowing 1.16+ players to join skyblock (like you guys did with some games to block 1.8(the non-direct-pvp games))

The only reason to ever use 1.8 is for the PVP, so all non-PVP related games are 1.9+

most ppl use 1.8.9 cuz they are better with 1.8.9 and there's the pvp advantage of no weapon cooldown, but then noone realizes the mobility advantage of 1.16(1.9+ in general). You should add snow layers (like 1 gold per snow layer) so 1.16(or any 1.9+ version) players can use their mobility...
