Yeah, the challenge doesn't work that well. With the obsidian skin it does though, you will be hidden very well. I don't like the challenge though, it's so annoying to find people (even if they are wearing a normal skin) it seems to me like camping.
Even MORE armour would be a bit annoying to click through all the time. You have to go through all the armour before you finally get to, for example, iron armour. If gold would be in between there it would take even longer. Great thinking though :)
An anti-team system would be bad though. If it would kick players if they are close, it would basically kick people that are fighting melee. Especially with OP mode (good armour) some fights take really long. An anti-team system wouldn't really work.
Even if you would use the 3-block distance...
I wouldn't say it was a fail, but it doesn't convince people to build things on cubecraft enough.

It looks like he gets the knockback, but not the full effect. He gets a little bit of knockback, but with those knockback sticks he should get way more knockback.
Favorite maps:
Tropical (SOLO): In the beginning, it's very easy to rush to your 2 neighbours. After you've eliminated them, you can rest a little bit and get some more items before going on. This is a very cool map, with a great lay-out and generally a map where great games are being played on...
