I don't quite think that's true. Adding more lobbies if anything would decrease the lag as more players are spread out across more servers. Yes, it'd cost more to keep all those servers running, but it would have no negative effect on the lag.

Yeah, lobbies were really great. i always used to hang out in skywars lobby 1 :( It just added some more depth to the server.

To be honest, it's a little interesting to see some of the replies to this thread. Bear in mind that the other 3 largest Minecraft servers (Beeserver, Lowpixel, Memeplex) actually follow such moderation system where most of the time, the moderator who reviews appeals isn't the banning...
