For cave spiders you could place the spawner on a platform over the void and then use a bow to shoot them off

Yeah, I equipped a buddy in skyblock and it was getting in my way when mining and placing blocks. For some reason you can't unequip it while you're playing skyblock (the button just doesn't work), but if you go to the main lobby and then unequip it, it works

The spawner will drop on the ground and after some time it will eventually despawn

Melons and pumpkins don't need water to grow (you just need to use the hoe on the dirt and plant the seeds before the block turns back to dirt) but other crops do need water.

It's not possible for other players to join a solo world and you can't convert a solo world into a co-op world.

At least this is some great news! We can finally craft fireworks in Skyblock Bedrock! You have to craft them manually but at least we can complete the last Overworld quest now! 🥳 According to the changelog on Discord, this bug was fixed on 20th July.

I started Skyblock around May 2021 and have a playtime of just over 17 days. I've completed all the overworld quests and I'm working my way through the last nether island.

Yes, you can only make banners with different coloured wool blocks. The only custom banner available is a creeper one you get from completing a quest.

Thanks for all the clarification. Yes, it makes sense to wait longer for a better update with fewer issues and I'm looking forward to whenever that happens. I just think everyone panicked because they saw "scrapped" with no further explanations.

It's just so disappointing. That "coming soon" npc has been in front of the end portal for over a year (and it's still there), they showed us a photo of the ender dragon fight, then it got moved to backlog and now it's just been scrapped. The update site does say that scrapped projects might...

There are no details on when the update will be coming out and it's currently in backlog. After the backlog stage, it needs to pass the "In Development" and "Testing" stages so it will be a while before it's released. You can keep an eye on the progress on the Public Update Board
