Update: None of the suggestions listed above have shown any change. My screen still turns black even after changing render distance and various other settings. Are there any other things I should try?

Hi! I have been waiting to play lucky islands for a very long time. I am having a problem though. When teleported to the lobby, and once I accept the resource pack, all my blocks turn black and some blocks disappear. I am currently using version 1.9.2, I have no other resource packs being used...
