Also, you could say the same about highest kills and wins, it makes the people with the highest kills/wins look good, its just nice to have to know who is the highest. Anything can cause an argument and I don't see how this would cause so many arguments, however I think that knowing how much effort people put into the server is more positive. Knowing that people can see your level would also encourage people to play more as they would want to be the highest...
