I don't think this is the problem though. Besides maybe the length of the games, there was very little wrong with Tower Defence (TD for short) overall. It didn't get enough players because of the amount of games on the network. This game has never seen bedrock at all, so all of this is only true...

This sounds a whole lot like a flat creative world where you would go in survival to check out some of your skills and build some cool stuff. I don't think this is beneficial for any online server that is not based around the idea of plots or just creative in general. I love to play with friends...

Tower defense has already been a rather succesful game on CubeCraft. Sadly, it got removed due to too little players. The concept as CubeCraft had it was probably one of the better executed version. I don't see how armor and pvp as the main mode would be better compared to the one CubeCraft...

I don't know how it works on Hypickle, but there are some 'side quest systems' on java already. First of all is the Challenges. These are daily tasks of things you have to complete within the games to get a small reward. These can vary from 'Break an Egg in Team EggWars' to 'Win an event in FFA'...

How is not being able to combo not a big enough PvP change? That's like the biggest thing for a lot of players

I don't think it is specifically too overpowered, but it is just really annoying to play against. Obviously, being outgeared is no fun, but that is easily tackled by getting gear yourself. There isn't much you can do about the mites, while they are interfering with PvP and just general gameplay...

Some reasons harm the banned person much more than necessary. Grooming is a great example of this. By getting a network ban, the highest possible punishment CubeCraft can hand you is already given. Then also naming that they groomed can harm the banned person in real life instead of on a gaming...
