Just because someone has your external IP, doesn't mean you can be "hacked". FYI, 127.0.0.1 is local loopback, so no matter what machine you're on, it'll point back to the same machine (also known as localhost). Your WAN (Wide Area Network) IP is what is used over the internet - and if that was all you needed to "hack" someone, you'd be hacked by half the websites & game servers you visit.

Your WAN IP points to your home network (and mine dynamically changes itself quite a lot). Your LAN IP points to your device within your local network, and usually starts with 192.168. There are also several classes of IP, with different subnet masks. Subnet masks are converted to binary and XORed with your IP when connecting to something to get the relevant portion of your IP.

Believe me, a little humour about local loopback isn't going to get me "hacked" - I know what I'm doing.
