I have noticed it also but it was a while ago.

For me yesterday I played Java for the first time in a while and in the 2 games (skywars) I played there was a hacker in each. Fortunately Sentinel did ban them soon enough after (according to my report denials). So Sentinel is working, it's just being a bit slow sometimes I think

I haven’t seen a cheater in a while to be honest. Quite happy to see this.

I streamed two times today on bedrock and got no cheaters there also. The few times I did see them they either got banned by the sentinel or someone else got them. So seeing that more people seem to see fewer hackers on Java is fun to see:D
