It’s not bad, it’s a rather common procedure, I myself have had all mine extracted. Its also not at all painful since they will likely put you under anesthesia. Just make sure you have music or something to drown the noise out as you can defiantly hear what they are doing. Also be aware that the anesthetics take a while to wear off so you may feel really funny afterword.

I've had mine removed about 1,5 years ago, but under complete anaesthesia. If you really don't want to do local you might be able to request complete as well but I guess that depends on your hospital :s

Unfortunately, I will have local anesthesia as this hospital doesn't do ''complete/sleep anesthesia''.
Definitely agree with Doc on drowning out the noise of their procedure with music or something, I didn't do this and despite not feeling it- the sound was unpleasant.
