Hello there San, We do not need any evidence as a staff member.

Right. Then how would you and other staff determine if that person was hacking or not without a second witness, or multiple witnesses for the matter?

We do not need approval of an other staff member or an other witness to make sure that the player has been using any kind of cheats. We are experienced members of the team and are also experienced in any kind of rule breaking activities. If we want to have an extra opinion about something we can record it and send it to others to check-out the evidence.

You guys are experienced as moderators, but shouldn’t you guys still get evidence at least to show the person is hacking and make sure that they are hacking? Also, if they appeal, what evidence or recording would you use against them? I’m sure they have the right to see what got them banned and how they got banned (with the use of evidence).

One more thing, as I said, you guys are experienced, however, how can you guys be sure that you guys aren’t making any mistake when choosing to punish a player without anyone else being there? I believe you see where I am starting to get at with this conversation.

As for the reason why I am asking this, recently, an acquaintance of mine got banned for illegal modifications with no evidence from the staff who banned him. (Apologizes for all the messages, there is a 420 character limit so can’t type it in one message).

The rules state that we are allowed to issue bans or mutes at our own discretion. Meaning that we do not have to provide any information or any evidence towards teh person has been breaking the rule. About the mistakes, we make mistakes because we are also human beings and we will make mistakes. But we will correct our mistakes when we are certain about the mistake that has been made by us.
