I went to church for quite a long time and keep in touch with the other people I knew there so feel free to ask questions and I'll answer as best I can :)
-Are church masses free?
-Can anybody attend a mass, regardless of LGBT status, religious belief, etc.?
-What do church masses actually involve, and is any thorough participation required?
-Is modest dress expected? I've bought an outfit in advance
Thnx youuu :)
Regardless status depends on which kind you’re going to. Typically LGBT people are not really allowed for any kind of christian religions as the bible says it’s a sin. Also christian females need to wear dresses/skirts and males need to wear pants till their ankles. This is to separate sexes. Anything else depends really on the religion, church itself.
Or at least that’s what I’ve experienced from my church but we were all severe christian which doesn’t have a term in english as far as I know (gereformeerd)
Church masses are 100% free, as Jesus and God preach that Church is for everyone regardless of how rich or poor you are. Jesus’ was popular because he catered to the commoners, and they were drawn because he was all-accepting. Church masses can have different levels of participation, some can have known at all others can have a lot. Some rituals that you can take part in are the taking of the body and blood of Jesus.
Body and blood is btw bread and whine, most people also take bibles and books with christian songs in it with them. If you have any more questions just ask them though :)
