You could try some terraforming (this will even come in handy when you survival!), or perhaps try out a style that you've not worked with before (medieval, modern, ..)

I have a flat world where I made something I will probably make a thread about soon, I will also create a default world so I can terraform bits of land. For now, I'm going to make a modern house, thanks for the tip. I made like 1 modern house ever. (Also 2 in my survival but those weren't that great)
