You don't want to be telling staff that you're a wonnoble, otherwise they might think you're just in it for the pot of gold every staff member gets when they're initiated (old staffies will know what I'm talking about. I spent my gold on skittles, btw).

You need to up your location game. Reprotland was cancelled after some of its old tweets resurfaced online, so if you do become a helper you'll probably be demoted. Lastly, nobody wants to hire the unemployed! Get a job, perhaps at HackerJail. You need to let people know you work there in your occupation. I worked there for four months, and you know what JohnColes said to me when I became mod?

He said "Sophie, you're so darn wonderful and your resume is even better than mine. Won't you please, PLEASE, run things around here from now on?"

And I said no. He seemed disappointed, but every year without fail, I get a birthday card from him. Every year, he says "Sophie, it's me again. I was wondering if you're still working at HackerJail. I want to get a job there. Can you help me?"

I suppose the moral of the story here is to always work at HackerJail, but preferably not in the kitchens. If you're a guard or even the warden, the staff team will be all over you, and you'll get an even bigger pot of staff gold when you're initiated.
