Most of the people here play Java. 2.6k isn't dead, but it's the lowest since like mid-2014. Not sure whether it's growing or shrinking nowadays though.

I've been looking at the stats for several days lately and although java is in the minority I have seen it get some growth. It is true though that the majority of the overall growth is coming from the Bedrock network. (Also, the number you gave was Java 1.9+ specifically, not Java as a whole)

Honestly, I do not think Cubecraft is dead but most of my friends stopped playing MC by now so it feels kinda dead to me. But that's just my opinion. It feels dead because you had some good memories with all of your friends on Cubecraft.
