Pilot - Most pointless, avoidable death of 2018, done to elicit emotion from a character we hardly knew (5/10)
Rosa - Contrived and predictable ending. Also, a really interesting premise, but the best they can come up with is time-travelling racist? (6/10)
Spiders - Where is the rest of the episode? Why did it just... end? Absolutely nothing has been resolved aaahhhhh!!!! (4/10)
Spaceship episode - Deus ex Machina that destroyed all tension. The Doctor "just happened" to realise something at the very end that solved both their problems at once, whilst a pregnant person was giving birth at literally THE worst time possible and with three seconds to spare. Everybody gets an overused nineties cliche!
Witch trials - Villain is revealed and not even ten minutes later they're defeated
I've had a gander at some of the receptions to the new seasons, and this morning I found a list of some serious contradictions in the Doctor's philosophy that are so bad I honestly have no idea how they weren't caught during rewriting.
