Short answer is, no-one could possibly claim to know what the entire user base wants. The requirements of a 10-12 year old demographic are vastly different to that of a 14-16 year old for instance. The difference is that what is acceptable for 14-16 year olds isn't suitable for 10-12 year olds, whereas what is suitable for 10-12 year olds is also suitable for 14-16 year olds, to a degree.
I appreciate your response, in the situation mentioned above I understand that of course you would want players of all ages to feel safe. My point however, which I should've made more clear, was meant to be more in general, not just that situation. E.g. how do you know players want certain updates etc. 1/3
Do you guys also have any clue as to what the average age of a CubeCraft player actually is? As of course you could always think from the point of view of a 10-12 year old, but if the majority of the players are between 14-16 years old you might want to focus more on them instead. 2/3
That's why I feel like you guys should do more about actually finding out the interests of the players, of course you can assume things about the ages of players and what is right or wrong. But that won't grant that they will like it.
