Pompeii is fascinating to learn about. I went to the Pompeii ruins a few months ago as part of a Latin trip (got pics if you want to see them.) It’s actually quite sad to see what’s left of Pompeii and how such a great city was destroyed.

OOOO!! You should share them in Everything Else section, that'd be so interesting to see and discuss! What's so sad is that nobody knew what was happening, because volcano eruptions weren't really known about. People probably just saw the mountain and thought "Huh, Vulcan's mad about something". By the next day, everybody they'd ever known was dead v.v
