What is the issue? Your son can join the server but not Lucky Islands?

Hi thanks for the reply so quickly. The issue is I have no idea what steps to follow to get the "lucky islands". I have Minecraft 1.11.2. and would like to purchase whatever I need to, to get access to the mods available on this website.

Have you added Cubecraft IP to your servers list? ;) If you haven't, just open Minecraft, go to Multiplayer section and then click the option Add server and add this: play.cubecraft.net
Then you will be able to join this server

Yes I have done that now. But when it tries to connect I get an error message relating to Internal Exception java.lang.nullpointexceptioner. Probably that issue is well known with a solution here (he says hopefully)

Does it only happen when you try to play Lucky Islands?

just trying play.cubecraft.net server but i will go and try another server now

just tried it with lemoncloud and exactly the same problem and message.

@Wil Thornton The server ip play.cubecraftgames.net! It is not play.cubecraft.net would you want to see if that will do it now?
