Your old friend Niko got me. I'm embarrassed so much that the youngest mod got me (13 year old catches college student trolling in games). I don't troll normally but when the occasional squeaker comes, I make the most out of that moment to have some fun. Too bad I can't do that anymore.
I can't and won't attempt to dispute it though. He got me and handed the right punishment for it (a warning). Probably means I can't apply for helper anymore and I'll have to be a lot more careful when I chat int he future.
Bright side, it's not a mute. Now I know that some mods take the effort to thoroughly check evidence for both the reporter and the offender.
I am pretty sure this won't affect your chances of getting helper. I believe a few mods actually were banned for hacking way before they applied. They changed, and now they are mods. Just make sure you have learned from the mistake :)
My philosophy is that if you did something and you got punished for it, then you get no chance to appeal. That's my case here where I'm not going to appeal this warning. It'll make me look like a liar if I do.
While I may see my mistake in this, that's not going to justify my actions.
Would you want an applicant to apply for staff when he's hacked or bad-mouthed other players before? You wouldn't. That damages staff's credibility, and credibility is important if people want to respect the server and staff.
An apology is NOT an appeal and will never be that way.

Hyper honestly your fine, your not going to die just because of one mistake, if you apply you'll have the same chance as other players, infact I've to some staff members before and they said they hacked on Cubecraft before, so your ok.
I understand that, but I need to take a break for the meantime and reflect on it further. I've asked Niko in the meantime a question or two about warnings.
I've questioned staff who hacked before. When I look up their ban history on other servers (e.g. badlion), I ask them to explain why they did something against their own rules.
Would you question authority who've had bad history before?
My dad and I said this: the only way to fix those chat offenses is to keep your mouth shut and chat only when needed (and appropriately). It seems I didn't keep up to that rule.
