I'm just going to point something out:
Key word: "Some"

Best thing you can do is just PM a staff member (or the staff member who dealt with your report) to look at it again and maybe point out the things where the player can be seen hacking according to you. Also not to forget, we staff need to be 100% sure the player is actually hacking before we can ban them. [1/3]

It's really nice that you've seen a player ingame making 100 headsnaps, but when reported with a video and you can only see one unclear headsnap (which could easily be done without hacks), then we just can't ban. [2/3]

That was an example, I'm not saying all of you guys' reports are like that, but I'm just trying to explain that it's completely different when you're not staff making a report and when you're staff dealing with a report (I can say that from my own experience). [3/3]

@iLoveYouu You know what i'm talking about, you deal with some already.
I got 5 closed reports from 2 days, all of them are obvious hacks.
When I forward failed reports on to you or Mac, are they then communicated with the member of staff who initially rejected the report to point out exactly what they're looking at? I really hope they are, because some of the staff just seem to be a little blind at times.

I know you guys are working hard to deal with the high amount of reports, and it can get quite tiring sitting watching clip after clip and so it's understandable when some reports get denied.

But we players are also trying to enjoy playing the games on the network, and are doing our bit by reporting them, so when they get rejected, time and time again, it makes us wonder why we bother trying to help just to get told "Player looks normal".

That's the most recent one that got denied. The response I get back is "Report Denied. There is insufficient evidence shown in this report to prove that the player is hacking. Thanks for the report though!"

Tell me, what more is required for that report? Should I ask the player for a screenshot? Should I ask him which client he's using?
Why should I have to take the report up with another member of staff, taking up more of my time. To be fair, I have previously passed them onto mac or iloveyouu, but the last maybe 5-10 denied reports, i just thought to myself, screw it, why should I bother.

All the staff should be competent enough to spot when someone is using a hack client, and so if it gets denied, I am therefore wrong. The point of this rant, is to actually make staff aware of their mistakes. Because many of them are being made. If I were making mistakes in my job, I would be notified of it and instructed on how to correct them.

I've not once had a member of staff sign a denied report, so it would be impossible for me to message them and have a conversation regarding the report.

It can be frustrating for players if their report got denied when the hacker is clearly hacking, it's frustrating for us as well because some just don't take the time to play it back 10 times. I'll ban the hacker in your video for you, but it's true, some staff have to pay more and more attention.

Hmm, you can keep sending me the reports that get denied which you think shouldn't have been. Also the best thing you can do when reporting for us staff is making the video under one minute (preferably even under 30 seconds).

We try our very best to deal with as many reports as good as possible and sometimes we deny one that could've been accepted. Especially with videos that are longer we tend to miss out on some things or skip some parts to speed up the process.

And for us staff it's better that some staff deny a couple more and do the reports than getting demotivated by players not liking how they do it and stopping with doing reports. We know you guys spent your free time on making the server a better place and we really appreciate that, but we staff also do that.

Also not every staff member is as good at looking if players are hacking than others. And as I already mentioned, it's so much different looking at a video clip than seeing someone hack ingame. I also know it's frustrating when your report gets denied, I've had it as well in the past and got pissed about it. The best thing you can do is message a staff and point out points where to look at..

Thanks for banning that person. But my concern lies with the denied report, you have now banned the player, but another staff member has denied it. So do you now speak to each other and try to learn from each other, and point out to the other staff what he/she was missing?
iLoveYouu
iLoveYouu
We try that, but we can't do that with every denied report. Staff can always ask others for opinions if they feel like it.

Any reports I make always have the time of the offence noted in the comments section if the clip shows more "action" than just the hacker. So that clip was reported with a comment saying to skip to 3.27, that's the same with any report I make, so that is a non issue for me.
