What is it?

On Egg Wars, I was playing with my boyfriend, and we were in team, and ONE GUY killed us, with his sword (of stone) and he has no armor. Things like this stress me out, and not happen only once. Every single game of Egg Wars, me and my boyf are killed like that. I don't know if is about the new version of minecraft (1.9). Please, I need help. (Sorry for my english, I'm portuguese :x)
