Greetings, everyone! - đź‘‹ I have a small suggestion to share.

So as you guys know
We have started noticing recently a lot of wars/fights between a group of players/friends or Clans... And in order to help your friends/clan you usually have to wait for someone to leave so you can be able to join and help your friends/clan... But that process usually takes a lot of time, since everyone in there fights, and nobody is usually willing to leave, unless someone lags out, or if there are innocent players that have nothing to do with the war. [Players that don't belong to any clan]

And as you guys know Wars in general usually end up with 70-80 players, Therefore I have decided to post this suggestion:

Some Ideas:
.
[+] Add A Flat map for wars and make it flat. [With some builds of course if you want]
[+] Allow 50 to 80 players to join the map. [Let's hope that it won't lag]

I think that It's better for everyone/for the clans.
You can even close it and open it when the maps are full...

As much as this could be more convenient for the members of CubeCraft that happen to participate in these 'wars' I think that CubeCraft has a player limit (40) in each map for a reason. You'd also just be giving a certain group of people (people that participate in 'wars') special attention. These clans are made by members themselves, it's not a server thing.

I think that it should be added (in my opinion) and also about the 40 players thing, I know about that, It's probably 40 to avoid lag/many players... but I also said that it should be a flat map so it can decrease the amout of lag.

Sometimes the terrain/building/structures interrupts the PvP experience. But a map has to have terrain, building and structures, otherwise it's get boring. So a completely flat map isn't a good suggestion.

Yes, it's for 1.9+
And yeah it does, especially when you get stuck in a corner.

That would actually be a good idea. At the moment I don’t play cubecraft wars anymore because I have to wait like 20 minutes to join a map

Yeah, I wrote that above.
You usulaly have to wait for someone to leave.
But that process usually takes from 10 to 15 minutes.

It's defiantly an interesting idea, I can't really comment due to rarely playing FFA. The server may lag due to having a lot of people but I remember a few years ago Battle Zone had 100 people, I could be wrong though.

Yea it can be annoying at times, but i don't think this should be implemented.
First off, i am against completely flat (or close to it) maps. Yes, maps should be mostly flat (just like they are right now), but making them flatter would just make them duller and closer to what duels is. The difference in terrain gives room for different strategies and ways to play the game, which makes it less boring over time. I know clan wars are not about that, just pure PvP, but having a map that will only be used once a month or less for when there is a clan fight is kinda useless. There are also a lot of maps with large flat parts (Kingdom is mostly flat, the bottom in Oil Rig is 100% flat, Flatlands is also really flat), so i think there's no shortage of flat parts where can fights can happen.
As for increasing the player count to 60-80 players, the problem is that the server would require more than 2x the computing power to run, minecraft servers only run in 1 thread mostly, so it's really hard to get a server past 40-50 players very efficiently, and even then most maps are made for ~40 players, adding more would make them feel too crowded, and some already are too busy in the most popular spots at times (like B in Mirage), going through the effort to make the servers run smoothly with 80 people when at times it can't handle 40 at 100% is not worth the effort for the rare clan fights that do happen

First of all I really appreciate the time you took and the effort you made to comment/give your opinion about this suggestion, I really respect your opinion...
But you said it yourself, some of the maps should be flat. Not completely flat of course, I said "With some builds", But It's FreeForAll, most of the players there Fight, therefore I asked to add some flat maps, with less builds, I know the fact that people use them for strategies (running etc...) But There should be at least 1 flat map (Not completely flat), But a map that has space for us pvpers to fight. ^o^
