So... I get dropped to under 5 fps when looking at spiders in tower defence. Not cave spiders, not any other mob, not any sort of particle effect. those keep me above 60 easily. But looking at spiders kills my fps. Doesnt matter if its directly or in f5. Anyone have any idea what the heck is...

yeah, honestly I think an intresting idea would be putting defensive areas that the humans could actually group up and defend, as apposed to leaving everyone basically going solo.

agreed, as of now hardcore is just a bunch of early troop spam, I think that hardcore should have a long delay before spawning the first troops, so that players have time to put out towers, and that prehaps all units should be slowed down a bit, so that they arent moving so quickly past defences
