I think you're thinking of 5D skins, which I agree to obviously not add, 4D skins are normal skins with small 'cosmetics' on them, for example a custom cape or hat

They don't want us to have nice stuff. There isnt an actual valid reason against them or why they were removed.

Re-allow persona skins. (Normal capes, Custom capes, zombie arms, ETC, these are awesome). They say they removed capes because because of performance issues, but with all the trails, cosmetics and entities in game, I doubt they even make a difference.
