I have only played BlockWars Bridges a few times, and I must say it isn't my favourite minigame. Obviously, there will be some people who love it, some people who hate it, but I think that it is not drawing in enough players to be a consistent contender to the other highly popular minigames...

It's hard to say for me; I played on and off as early as 2014, but only really got back into CubeCraft and Minecraft this year due to COVID-19 and quarantine in my country. I only joined the forums recently though.
I personally think that muting is a great idea. The issue with larger servers, such as CubeCraft, is that it's hard to keep track of how often a player as broken a rule. Say for example PlayerX swore in the Discord chat channel and was muted for 48 hours. After the automated system unmuted him...
Yep, they were the most common fake reports. Makes sense why they removed it, if I were staff then I'd hate having to sift through all those pointless reports from players who just got mad that someone 10-hearted them in FFA :)
I think the only issue, as far as I'm aware, would be for ranked players who are choosing a specific kit for their duels. I'm sure configuration settings could be applied though.
I'm pretty sure they mentioned why the removed the reach option... as far as I can remember it was due to people "rage-reporting" people who were simply better than them and using reach as their excuse to report.
Staff were overwhelmed with false reports, so it makes sense why you now need...
