Mid island should at least get a chance to have pearls. Seriously though, you get to mid, you kill all but one dude who's camping with bows and throwables on his starting island, and you've got soft blocks. You're not going to win. Only way to get to them would be to pearl to them. Mid island...

Yeah this is a common issue as it seems. Gotta love trying to make a getaway with a grapple bow just for it to not fire but also trigger the cooldown regardless, just to get mowed down by a full dia dude.
