So there have been a lot of people advertising different products lately. Usually they have weird names, post content that contains a link to a product (usually a scam), and don't have profile pictures. These are NOT real people. They are spambots, computer programs designed to advertise a product for a company. If you see a thread or profile post that fits what I described (link to product, etc.), report the content and the user who made it (or in the case of certain staff, ban the user and delete the content). Do not reply telling the user not to advertise, it will do no good, it wasn't a real person who made the post. Hopefully this clears up confusion, trust me, I've had experience.

The only thing the Helpers can do is lock those threads until a Moderator hops on and deletes the threads, and bans the bots.

I meant whatever staff could ban them, but mostly this is just a guide to help avoid confusion. Thanks for your input though.

I'm well aware that these are bots. I'm just simply stating the rules and locking. I know what I say doesn't really matter at all but I rather not lock a thread without saying why I am locking it. So sorry that I don't meet your standard :/.

Alright, I was just confused by the way you worded it. This should still help others too though. Also, I don't have standards, you do it how you want. I didn't mean it like that.

Ah very sorry then. If I sounded rude I wasn't trying to be. Anyways thank you for bringing this to the players attention. :)

    Thanks, threads deleted :)
This is an ever-growing issue, I'll see if something can be done about it since there's usually around 5-10 threads that I have to delete every morning :/
