Hello, my name is Peorioy and since the last week i've recently been playing skyblock alot.
I really like the skyblock on CCG, because of the shops, players, challenges, and much more.

Even though there is still 1 big problem everyone has to deal with.

    LAG!

Yea thats right, lag, there is a LOT of lag on skyblock and i wonder why and how we can fix this.

A lot of players are having problems with it, think of it if you HAVE to mine obsidian with block lag and just a normal diamond pickaxe.. That takes ages..

We really have to fix this lag because it ruines the fun on skyblock..

I dont know if players can help with this, but i think its caused because some players just have 100 coloured sheep in a 5x5 area.

Anyways, thanks for reading this and i love to read responses.

    Thankyoo bye!

NOTE: Im sorry for my bad english, im dutch and i dont speak english so well, thanks for understanding!

Well. DONATE. They don't have they money, and they work SO hard to run the servers. We can't thank them more for making a really good community. So donate if you want to make it better, so they get more money.

Once 1.8 comes (Tuesday!) lag will be a little better as I think there is a new rendering system.

So many people complain about lag so they switch monsters off then people complain about that, there's no win :p but I have seen people with like 50+ sheep in each colour in a very small area on their island :p

Also try to come on while off peak time... When there is lots of people it sometimes lags.
But as @Exciting_pancake said, people make lag machines and causes it to lag
    VVVV
But the only way we can combat that is doing clearlag to remove those 50+ sheep

ClearLag gets rid of only entities? Not animals?

That is another command called //butcher but /stoplag stops all intensive tasks e.g. entities get removed (friendly mobs + hostile mobs), water flow, lava flow, and a few other bits and bobs.

Um how about doing it once then warn people like no more then 100 sheep to an island.. no bigger then 2 layer mob grinder, I know some people will still have more but it will keep numbers down a bit?

What about a limit of passive mobs on your island?

    So set like:
    - 20 sheep
    - 10 cows
    - 10 pigs etc

Please no. Having 30 of each colour sheep is necessary! D:

This is what I am saying though... Set a limit to 20 or 30 I don't know... But set the amount because then people who have heaps of sheep will have to get rid of some. This might help a bit but who knows.

I personally don't agree, specifically due to the fact that it took me 4 hours or so to organize my sheep, in which involved 11 sheep deaths, 6 cats thrown out my window, and a fatal incident with a duck... I don't want to repeat history by having to get them all back. I doubt it'll help too much either... It could be a number of reasons, for example islands being too far out, big islands, lag machines or players being in the nether. I personally don't lag much at all, and i don't exactly have the best laptop around... I honestly don't see what the problem is, and i'm the one living with 1100 sheep in my hair.
