So I tried to get the Lapis rank on this website, and one of the steps is to reveal part of my social security number. When I hit the little question mark beside the box as to why I should give you my SSN, it didn't even give me a reason. This all seemed unnecessary and suspicious, so I did a quick search on SSN info and websites. I found this website: http://www.indepthdefense.com/2007/05/what-are-last-4-digits-of-your-ssn.html. In it is a quote: "The purpose of this site is to make people aware of the danger of simply sharing the last 4 digits of your SSN. When a company asks you for your last 4 digits, Tell them no and send them a copy of this site." I find it very creepy, dangerous, abusive, and un-needed for me to have to give you something so private and important just to get a low server rank. If there is a way to get a rank without having to give out my SSN, that would be lovely. For now I guess I won't get it. I'm honesty offended that this site is asking for my intimate identity. Bye.
