One Thing: Can't anyone do anything about this skyblock lag? It's impossible to play. And don't just lock this saying that you do the best you can, because it doesn't seem to help, does it?

No need to be so rude, lol. The server is very large and they're doing what they can to reduce the lag. But it'll always be there.

I'm not really being rude, as it's kind of rude of them just locking the threads with a bad explanation, isn't it? I've seen lots of complaints about it within the last six months, and that's a long time to fix lag, don't you think?

six months isn't that much time when you have lots of jobs to do. Coding is hard, anything involving computers can be hard. Lots of people post these threads complaining, when they know nothing about coding. Making a thread just to explain is a waste of time and space on the forums. Can you offer a solution?

All they need to do is add more RAM, that's nothing to do with coding.

Saradabaschi (the skyblock manager) is doing her best whenever she's on the server to maintain a stable and lag-free community. It's 1 staff member catering to over 300 people, what do you expect?
Despite the lag still being present to this day, a lot has been done to cater to the players who complain about it; you just don't notice it.
    -server restarts
    Was added to reduce lag
    -Server restart indicator
Was added so that players didn't get kicked out of their game unexpectedly
    -Entity clearing
Was added to reduce lag caused by islands with an unholy amount of animals
    -Animal spawners
Were distributed to cater to the people complaining that their animals keep getting reset (Me)
    -Monster spawn rates decreased
Was done to reduce lag caused by the ridiculous amounts of monsters on some players islands
All of these things were done in attempts to reduce the lag and ultimately please the community.

    Now to answer your question:
There is somebody that can do something about the lag, and that's you.
For the past 6 months, players have continuously complained that the server is too laggy to play (i am guilty of this myself). The thing is, i reckon that if everybody started reducing the entities on their islands rather than complaining about the lag, the lag present would be cut in half. I used to lag inside the floor when i had about 300 sheep on my island, but since i got rid of most of them, i've been ok a lot of the time.
Obviously when there are more players online, more chunks are loaded and therefore more entities, so if possible, just avoid going on the server at peak times.
That's all i have to say on the matter; i've given up caring about it to be honest, all i do on there anymore is buy / sell items for profit.

It's not a bad explanation, it is the truth. Want us to lie to you and say that it is going to be fixed tomorrow?

It's fine for the people that have got islands. But I restarted my island like ages ago and I can't even do anything cause of this lag, it's no breaking blocks, no opening chests, no commands, no nothing, really.
