Do you think like MCMMO in factions ?

  1. MCMMO should be added.

  2. MCMMO shouldn't be added.

  3. There should be 2 factions server, one with MCMMO and one without.

    Hey guys, I know factions is going to reset and it was just to know how many of you actually wants to have MCMMO. During the suggestions for the new things in factions I noticed how a lot of people were and weren't for MCMMO, and that is why I created this pole.

    So far these are the reasons why I found for MCMMO:
    1) It changes the aspects of the game and makes it different.

    Reasons against MCMMO:
    1) It changes the aspects of the game and makes it worse, enabling the ability of farming skills, destroying the idea of survival.
    2) If MCMMO is added old players will get very OP, and thus it will make it extremely hard for new players to get better and progress.
    3) A lot of servers have MCMMO making Cubecraft an original server.

    well I think no but the thing with mcmo is that it is highly rewarding for older members. This is gona make a lot of people quit factions. Get the picture you get you first diamonds and you make full dia armour. Then, a guy who just has no armour and a wood sword who dose lots of mcmo leveling just coms and one shots him. In my mind that is verry unfair. People who use mcmo a lot will become invincible, leaving other players who spend ages trying to build a base helpless. As I said before it gives unfair advantages, a lot of people reading this will think well your in the faction teamkrm, the best faction here and that is a unfair advantage to others. Well we earnt it putting in extra hours to be the best and with mcmo you just need to do the same thing over and over again to lvl up to become op. We didn't lvl up we just have experience, if you are experienced you can use what you learnt and apply it to yourself. With mcmo you don't need much experience you just have to lvl up to be good not learn new thing (except ways to lvl up fast) which in my mind is nowhere near as fun as learning how to do it properly.

    Think about it this way: Say you have fairly high axes skill, around 1700. You can break armor pretty fast, and other players hesitate to fight you because of it and cringe when they see how much damage you did to their armor. The only problem is, in order to actually do the extra damage to their armor, or any damage to them at all, is that you must hit them in the first place. This same concept applies to every single weapon out their besides Swords, since counter attacks of course only trigger when you are hit,not when you hit someone else. That is why swords is beneficial to those who are not as skilled or get a bad frame rate for pvp, though you can still use it to great affect as a skilled player.

    I don't think this should be added, if people stand hitting endermen with axes, they'll gain a lot of XP, and allowing them to break armour in not a lot of hits. I vote no.

    After seeing this thread, reading people's opinions, checking out the McMMO site itself, I really don't know. PvP skills are way too over powered, the rest may be fine but some of the skills like Tree Feller or utility/misc. skills in general could be abused to get easier points, so it's a tad bit over over powered in general. (I personally would hate the armor breaking skill..)

    How about one without it at first, and if factions is actually popular after the reset, consider adding a McMMO server alongside it?

    It'd be kinda unnecessary to get a second factions server for that, I'll see what I can do about adding/removing it though.

    I'm pretty sure it is possible to disable certain aspects/skills in McMMO, like the armor breaking part or the axes skill in general. And other than the armor breaking and maybe unarmed I'd like to know which PvP skills you would call overpowered.

    Bleeding isn't exactly strong in my opinion, and the axes skill could always be disabled if people actually think it is too op.
