Ok, i am sure we have all thought the same... the nether is dead. Seriously, how often do you hear someone say "i am going to the nether" or "i am going to get quartz"? You never find quartz in the nether because it has all been mined. You never find blazes because all spawners have been smashed. You never find anything. If it is possible, is there any chance that the nether could be reloaded? The only reason people go there is to get quartz, either for decoration or xp, but it's impossible to find without mining for it, which should not be the case. I am aware that players may have bases in the nether, but i doubt many of them are active factions, as the nether is a terrible place to build a base, due to ghasts, pigmen, blazes and lava everywhere.
    Pros:
The nether will be a new battleground. Portals everywhere, players would be hunting the nether for players to kill, which would make the game much more fun, as afterall, it is a pvp game.
Quartz would be much more accessible. Quartz is a great decorative block, which would help players expand their bases and try new things.
Cons: A few unfortunate players would lose their dirt and cobble homes, which would be destroyed by ghasts and blazes anyways...
solution: If players were to be given a weeks notice of the nether reset, they could take any items out from the chests of their nether bases.

What about players that live in the NETHER?
Their bases and all goods would be restarted, which would be bad from their side.
Yes, I understand all the mobs, ghasts/blazes/lava etc, it is hard to live here. But some still live here.

I don't think it should be reset, if you wanted to find new quartz and new fortresses all you have to do is travel a bit away. or make a new portal far away. I know of a couple of factions that live in the nether and are still active. I agree sometimes there is no quartz, but if you travel enough, you'll find some.

I think it should be reset and players shouldnt be able to make a home in otehr dimensions,
If a faction does have a home in the end/nether then they should be warned a month in advance

Agreed. I mean, it is a little unfair to have a base in the end thousands of miles away, as the only way to then raid that base is to build a bridge thousands of blocks in random directions... and could you imagine someone having a base underneath the lava of the nether? man, that would be an epic hiding spot alright...
I have considered this, but with a warning a few weeks in advance, they could get their valuables and build a base elsewhere. I have never raided a base that was in the nether, and i have raided a lot of bases, and have been to the nether a lot... The only bases in there i have found are ones that are months old, and are made from dirt, cobble and have no floor... I doubt you could consider dirt and cobble valuable.

In conclusion, more people would benefit than not. Seriously, barely anyone at all would not benefit from this.

Mehh, i have seen a few bases in the nether and where my home is set, there is plenty of quartz. You just need to travel a bit.

Anyone could tell you that travelling in the nether isn't an easy thing to do, and the majority of bases *cough mine cough* don't have quartz for miles away... plus moving in the nether isn't the safest thing to do, just to get some decorative blocks... =/

Still, people, (Including i) have buildings of worth in the nether, and i would be pretty mad for them to get taken away just so people can get quartz easier..

the nether can be safer than the over world, as there's not as many mobs. you'll only have some pigmen and maybe one or 2 ghasts depending on how big your base is, and you will only get blazes near a fortress (I think).

Good point but a regular reload would be a good edition to the game

unless you literally lived in the nether, and had a great base, and everything was perfect there and you were living a happy life with pigmen and lava. its like being on a summer holiday... in Spain? you know heat, and people? idrk where this is going, but I still don't think it should be

I honestly do not like this idea.. Some people could be inactive for the summer/weeks and have their bases still in the nether and come back to nothing, but also some people may have spent a long time building their base in the nether and I don't think they would like it getting reset p:
