It's very flat, try adding hills or little coves. And fill up the whole plot; it's Hide N' Seek you want it as packed as possible :)

Try to make it realistic and have the hiding places fit in with the surroundings to make it natural. :D

Try to fill in the majority of the grass on the map, as it is very boring and plain. More hiding places there, perhaps hay bails.

I think the towers look like they should have windmills on them and also can we see inside the houses?

And those towers are silos. One of them has hay and the other one has melons.

I like how it looks. It's very calm and peaceful-looking. I have a few suggestions; feel free to pick and choose them.
    • Plant some sugarcane along the river, 3-4 high and a few per group. It'd give a bit of life to the river.
    • Make the bridges a little more unique and complex. Maybe put logs are supports at either end?
    • Put some fences along the path. Maybe alternate sides and have the fences reach 3-5 blocks randomly.
    • Maybe a firepit by the three logs by the house. It sorta looks like they're there for seating around a campfire and it'd give some character to the map.
    • Make the coal building look a bit more like a storage building. Fences add a lot of character to a simple build.
    • Replace the glowstone in the paths; glowstone's kinda gaudy. The slabs might look a wee bit better as stairs (and won't mess up running players)
    • Add some flamingoes. Flamingoes everywhere. Just delete the whole map and build a giant flamingo. Flamingoes are great.

Doesn't need to be lit. Just a few cobblestone slabs in a circle and a bit of wood/coal blocks makes for a great burnt-out fire pit.
