    Hello everyone! For my 200th post, I decided to do something special... a guide that will (hopefully) be helpful to a lot of people.
    Disclaimer: Following steps might not be helpful for everyone and your FPS might not improve a lot, but do not blame it on me, just get a better computer. :D

    Install Optifine, and configure it properly

    Video Settings:
    Graphics: Fast
    Render Distance: 4 - 7
    Smooth Lighting: Off
    Smooth Lighting Level: Off
    Brightness: 50%
    Alternate Blocks: On
    Fog: Off

    Details:
    Trees: Fast
    Sky: On
    Clouds: Fast
    Dropped Items: Fast
    Rain & Snow: Fast

    Animations:
    Water, Fire, Flame, Potion, Terrain, Lava, Explosion, Dripping Water/Lava - On
    Particles: Minimal
    Everything else - Off

    Quality:
    Clear Water: Off
    Better Grass: Off
    Custom Fonts: Off
    Swamp Colors: Off
    Connected Textures: Fast
    Antialiasing: Off
    Random Mobs: Off
    Better Snow: Off
    Smooth Biomes: Off

    ► Ingame, go to "Settings" and click on "Show friends" or "Hide all players"

    ► Uninstall any other mods you have other than Optifine or just make a new profile that will only have Optifine installed

    ► Close any programs / websites that are using your Internet resources (YouTube, Twitch etc.)

    ► Allocate more RAM to your Minecraft client
    (IMPORTANT: Do NOT allocate more RAM than your computer can handle. I am not responsible if your computer crashes because you allocated too much RAM)

    Open your Minecraft Launcher and click on "Edit Profile" in the bottom left corner.
    Check the "JVM Arguments" box if it isn't checked already.
    Enter the following values, depending on how much RAM you want to allocate:
    1GB = -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M
    2GB = -Xmx2048M -Xms2048M
    3GB = -Xmx3072M -Xms3072M
    4GB = -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M
    5GB = -Xmx5120M -Xms5120M
    6GB = -Xmx6144M -Xms6144M
    8GB = -Xmx8192M -Xms8192M

    ► Use simple texture packs, without animated items (Default works fine too, I am using this one)

    I hope this short tutorial helped you and that you can now enjoy playing on Cube even more!
