Welcome to this months Cube Craft Games Update. In this episode we discuss the news that we're no longer supporting PayPal, the possibility of a real merchandise store coming and a special coupon for viewers.

After a long talk internally we decided that we're no longer going to be supporting PayPal as a method of payment on our digital store. This is mainly due to issues out of our control at PayPal. Any purchases that were made using PayPal before we stopped supporting it are still valid and if you have any issues with them please feel free to email support@cubecraftgames.net with details such as your transaction ID.

We hope that you like our new partnership with Stripe who provide us as merchants and you as customers a much better service. We look forward to hearing from you and again if you have any issues please contact us on support@cubecraftgames.net

    Thank you,
    John Coles

I'm glad we are making some changes, and prepare for the spam of questions.

Don't you already sell Physical items? such as clothing items and such, I've seen them on another website.

2Checkout is really good, I've used it personally before and really like it, it has bad reviews but it gets the job done.

You're welcome. If you (or anyone else - for that matter) is struggling with payments, then feel free to email support.

This feels like a terrible idea. Many of CCG's payments are going to be from children getting their parents to pay with their credit cards. These parents do not want to see an unknown payment option. Most will recognise PayPal, but few will have heard of Stripe. They will be suspicious and be put off. Google Wallet would have been a much better option in this regard. If you were having trouble with PayPal, I would see the least bad (still bad though) solution would be to charge a premium, 10% extra or whatever, for PayPal purchases. This would encourage people to use a different method but still let PayPal be an option. For any who still use PayPal, the extra money could have been used to pay a staff member to deal with any issues.

It will be very easy to see if I'm right in this or not. If the rate of purchases this coming week is the same as two weeks ago, I'll eat my words. If I'm right though you will see less income.
