So i was playing eggwars and all the sudden i get this huge lag spike. I don't normally get lag spikes at all and my computer is completely perfect i know that it doesn't lag when i use it. I think there was an update where all the resources are stone. Is that the reason why I'm getting all these huge lag spikes? I have gone completely crazy over these and i get so frustrated when it happens.

I don't really know about that. My wifi is completely perfect and my internet is working fine. Every time i play on this server i don't lag at all. I just got on today and my computer seems to be working fine. Plus my teammate said she was getting crazy lag spikes too.

it is still your computer no server can cause direct lag spikes they can do things that cause lag spikes but it is your computer it isn't necessarily a all time thing it just happens and that is that

This happens very infrequently while on the server and I believe it isn't an issue with the ops own computer. I've been in some games where everyone has just completely frozen for about half a minute. But as I said it doesn't happen much, just put it down to the server being really busy :p

I get lag spikes for a split seconds frequently but its not often enough that it happens to make games unplayable

If you're getting lag spikes it's your computer transferring extra data like; extra chunks loading, and other resource-like stuff.
I recommend you get optifine so your experience on cubecraft is more pleasant.
