    Hello there!
As you may have noticed, Cubecraft released a new game on the 25th of January, 2018.
The game is called Bingo, the main goal of Bingo is to win to get 5 items in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally or to get all the items on your map! (Depends on the option voted, you can read more about that further down in this thread.) You can find which items on your custom map in your off-hand. It looks something like this:
So the thing you have to do now is get those items.
Once you've found an item, a message will pop up in chat:
If you found the first item in the game, you'll get 5 points and the 3 main points you recive for every item.
A firework will pop up and that item will be checked with a "v":
Once you have 5 of those in one row (or all the items on your card), you'll get a Bingo and win the game!
But now, how to get better at Bingo?
Good question! Well, let me awnser this:
Bingo is a game where you get tested on:

    • Your (PvE) skills
    • Your Minecraft knowledge
    • Your luck
The main game (+tips & tricks)
Once you get teleported to the cages, you will recive an empty map, the first thing you have to do within the 10 seconds before the game starts, is looking at the map and deciding what row you want to go for. It's better to lock one row, so you can specifically go for the items in that row. In this case, I went for the column marked in blue:
I picked this exact column because you can easily get the items with my strategy, because wood (ladders) is common, a stone pickaxe is just needed and mushroom stew is crafted like this and mushrooms are quite common with the custom terrain generation plugin, the only thing that's hard to get is gold.

Once the game has started, I suggest you to collect about 8-10 wood logs.
After that, the best thing to do is to run around on the surface to collect stuff you need for the crafting recipes so you don't have to come up from deep in the ground to get the stuff you still need.
Another important thing you need is food! Not too much, just enough to not starve to death. Just raw meat (except chicken: Raw Chicken will give you a 30% chance to get the Hunger effect [0:30]) is good enough, if you find a chunk of melons, mine them! It's the best way to keep up your food bar!

Ok so now you got everything you need from the surface, if you saw a cave, go back to that cave, otherwise, find a cave as fast as you can, because you probably will need iron for an iron pickaxe or a recipe you need to craft and the easiest way to get iron is by a cave.

TIP: Don't craft torches, turn up your brightness as high up as possible! It's a huge time-saver!
If you've got some iron (and coal to smelt), dig down to Y-level 13, because that's the best Y-level to get supplies from. Now you need to listen very carefully! Keep mining in a straight line until you hear lava, water, a bat, a mob, just anything that can survive in a cave. Once you've heard something, mine carefully towards that sound, caves at Y=13 are the best caves, because all minerals can spawn at Y=13.
To help you hear sounds in-game, you can turn on subtitles:
Go to the Esc menu > Options > Music & Sounds > Show Subtitles > turn it on
    [IMG]
Another way to find a cave is with the F3 menu (Fn+F3 for Mac users), where you can find this:
The E means "entities", the 7 on my example means there are 7 entities somewhere in front of me, the 268 on my example means there are 268 total entities in my loaded entity chunks. So 7/268 means I'm looking at 7 of the 268 entities.
Keep looking around to find entities, don't look up because animals and such count as entities too.
NOTE: This number can be 0, but will mainly stay at 1, because you, the player, is an entity as well!
The "C" is the amount of loaded air blocks, this number will be around 6-10 if you're mining at Y=13 in a straight line. If there is a cave close to you, the number will be higher because the number of air blocks are higher.

If you found a cave, you'll most likely be able to find rare minerals like gold, lapiz, diamonds, redstone or even emeralds. In this example, I need to look for 7 gold ores (5 for the gold helmet, and 2 for the gold hoe) :
Once you've found the minerals you need, start to smelt them as quick as possible!
If you got a gold ingot, you can still use it, once it's marked on your map, it can't be taken away anymore from you.
Every time you win, you'll get 200 experience and 10 points!
TIP: You could make more than one furnace to smelt your stuff faster.

NOTE: If you die, you will still respawn, you'll lose your stuff, but not your progress on your card, don't rage quit!

    Teams mode
    [IMG]

The teams mode is a mode where you can play together with a maximum of 3 other people, your teammates! You can discuss who collects which items, as you can probably tell, teamwork is very important here! When you need 3 things from the surface, and 2 things from underground, you could split up the work. 2 teammates can look for the surface stuff and the other 2 could mine down to find the needed items.
Chat shows who got which item in your team. Other teams messages will be displayed as:
Team x has found an item.
If a teammate gets an item, it will be ticked off on your map too.
Teammates have been given a glowing effect, so you can easily find back a teammate.

    Gravestones
    [IMG]

Graves show where a player has died. If you die, you'll get back your coordinates from where you died. If you go back to your gravestone, you can right-click it as a chest or you can break the grave. It'll contain all of your items you lost while dying.
NOTE: Other players can't open your gravestone! Not even your teammates! (Thanks for testing @ImJustFilip)

    Voting
You can vote for 2 different card types:
    • A line
    • Full house
A line: This is just like the normal Bingo: you need 5 items in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line to win the game.
Full house: For this voting option, you'll need to get ALL the items on your card to win the game, this can take a long time!

    Leaderboards
This leaderboard is just like every other leaderboard, except, your solo & teams wins will be counted together. You need one more win than the current leaderboard place above you to become that place on the leaderboard.

Why do you need minecraft knowledge?
Because of the many crafting recipes you need to know, and as I told you above, to find caves while mining.
TIP: This site might help you if you don't know a crafting recipe.

Why do you need (PvE) skills?
If you're in a cave, you probably need to fight mobs.
TIP: Make a shield to fight against skeletons!

    Why do you need luck?
Because you could spawn in the middle of an ocean, so you'll need to swim for a bit, and you need luck with mining and the mob drops (if you need a bone but a skeleton doesn't drop in when dying, you're unlucky)

    My suggestions:
    Achievements!

    Bingo Bingo!
Complete 2 rows with your last item in "One line" mode!

Die when you only needed one more item.

    Equip yourself with diamond armour.
    Reward:

    -2 cubelets
    -100 experience

    Buisnesssss
    Trade with a villager.
    Reward:

    Collector
Collect 15 items in the mode "A line" in one game.
    Reward:
    -150 points
    -1 cubelet

    Experience
    Get level 30.
    Reward:
    -300 experience
    -30 points

    Master Bingo
Fill in a full row within 10 seconds.
    Rewards:

Thank you so much for reading these tips/tricks/suggestions!

    Thanks for this guide. <3
    Some weird things I noticed:

Why do you need 640 wood blocks? (1 stack = 64 items)

    *2 for the gold hoe

And i have a question. If you die, you lose all your items / progress?

    Nice thread!
I also noticed what @Capitan said.
If you die you lose your stuff, but the things on the Bingo card stay.

Of course I found a cookie! It was one of the first things for me to find, of course! ;p
Oh, woopsie, let me correct that :p
And no, let me add that, you only lose your items, and respawn after a cooldown timer of 10 seconds (it could be a strategy to go to the surface very fast)
    No problem bro ;D
    You're welcome! I'm sure you're a Bingo master now! ;D
    Hi!
I'm expecting to have lots of work when I update the thread ;p
And thanks! This will be very usefull to new users!

Looking at feedback above I can see this guide has really gotten the attention of some and it is very good in my eyes as well. I feel that new players will definitely be able to get the grips with this game as personally I find that it is one of if not the hardest games on Cube to get the grips of due to how vastly vanilla it is. Many people do not play vanilla anymore and I favour that it is being brought into game modes on cube which could encourage more vanilla active game modes to be considered.

I would also like to state that I am a huge fan of your layout. it is simple and easy to understand and everything is underlined that is critical so you can just skim and scan for pointers and tips without having to read through all the little details if you desire. The colours and images give a nice creative feel so it isn't all words and players are visibly able to see what you mean by examples being provided.

    Excellent work!

Thanks! I've noticed that too, there isn't much vanilla on the server anymore, even UHC is a bit different than the normal vanilla gamemode.
It is because of that exact reason, I've made this thread, because players seem to forget how the game works, I know most of this because of watching UHC youtubers and wanted to share it with the community!

And thanks again! I wasn't sure if this layout was good for a thread, it was an experiment, but people really like it!

Thanks (for the third time :p) for this feedback! It really helps me :)

I was confused because of ``you need (pvp) skills``, is PvP enabled? Fight against Mobs is calles PvE!^^
