I don't think the template applied anymore since user parkour is disabled, but I would like to submit my cave parkour as a new parkour map for the adventure parkour category. The unknown tides map has a sign at the end (IIRC) that says something along the lines of being able to submit these still.

I attempted to use it, but it just crashes my broswer, so I decided to use imgur instead, since it was my second goto.

Is this type of post allowed? Will my map be added to the adventure parkour?

We cannot choose if it will be added or not yet. It takes a little time to see what potential the map has.

The map itself looks pretty solid, but it really is lacking in story. I like how you used redstone to indicate the boundaries that would indicate death as a positive, but there are way too many ore veins, some in which appear huge, such as the lapis vein. I suggest removing some of the veins of ores, and removing the skulls. I also suggest changing the story from "hey, you woke up here and there's a cave outside, go check it out yo!" to something like "you awake in a small cabin. A strange and gloomy mist surrounds the forest around you, and you seem entirely sealed in by trees." (add trees that you can't get past so you actually have a reason to go through the cave; to escape this isolated cabin surrounded by trees). "A small, dim cavern of undetermined danger can be seen from the foggy window of the ruined cabin. This perhaps is your only escape."
There you go, now you have a reason to actually go into the cave ;) Adventure maps should be telling a story that gets deeper as you progress, hence the name
    adventure map.
On to why the skulls need to be removed; If you're in a dead, rundown cabin in the middle of nowhere, it doesn't seem as super-natural knowing that others have been in the same position as you before; it just makes it look like you've been kidnapped. Kidnapped... Write that down, that could make for another adventure map ^.-
Other than that, the map looks great! It doesn't look too difficult, so anybody can play it and have a good time without murdering their keyboard in the process :)

It seems a little bland quite frankly.

    I recommend the following:
-Remove the glass and add some terra-formed cliffs/mountain hilly things. Glass just makes people feel like they are trapped in a goldfish tank.
-People love custom trees. The plain old sapling ones tend to be a bit boring to some people.
-Easter eggs/secret rooms. Who doesn't love those?

Other than that, a great build :)

Is this themed after the game, The Cave? I loved that game.

Anyway I agree with blooberry. It is bland. Get rid of the glass.

The post said it must have a wall around it, so I added the glass. I didn't know it meant it could be terrain, from looking at the other ones.

If you looked at the imgur album, you are sealed by trees.

I also meant for the redstone to only be a "dev" feature. I was just using it to show the staff what blocks you shouldn't be able to walk on.

    It's very unoriginal.
Same basic concept as most adventure parkours.
    I say no.
