I was wondering in creative if players could have different sized plots, but they have to pay some points for it. The bigger the plot the bigger the price.

    I was thinking.

    100 x 100 = 1000 points
    150 x 150 = 2000 points
    200 x 200 = 4000 points

It could add a lot more detail into builds (e.g bigger space for building parkour maps) because they have more space to work with.

Wouldn't it just lag the server even more if they added bigger plots?

Yeah I think that would be hard to make because they can't just change the plots that would ruin a lot of people plots though maybe different creative worlds?

The issue is much more then lag. We cannot dynamically size plots, its hardcoded for each world, having multiple worlds with the load thats already on that poor server is a no-no. Also deleting the entire world to recreate it with larger plots is also not something we look forward to.
