I never found ninja to be a good attacking kit, I always play defense in block wars and I don’t attack until sudden death as it often ends up in a 0-0 tie because they actually defend a bit when they see me defending.
This has absolutely nothing to do with punch bows. Maybe you should actually read some of the stuff I typed and realize that power bows are now at least 2x better than swords, while they were worse in all pre-1.11 versions
1.12 and 1.13 doesn't have any difference save for tridents, but once again Cube doesn't use 1.11 or 1.12 as its base version so you don't actually see the PvP changes.
Normal health in 1.12 is almost an exact equivalent to 1.9 half health for reference, hence why it should be removed due to...
i accounted for that, if it weren't for toughness it would drain to 34% instead of the 57% it drained to.
Edit: Regen is the only possible cause, I tried the wood sword vs diamond armor thing and it would take 26 hits without armor piercing. so yea it's the regen
Seems pretty accurate, but something seems to be going on with the diamond armor calculations, they're not adding up when I do it manually. I'll do it with power 5 bow for example:
80% Starting Protection - 23 x 1% for Power 5 Bow damage = 57% Base Protection
43% Unprotected x 64% for full prot...
Ok so for those people who still support half health because you know absolutely nothing about PvP Changes:
Half health completely loses its' original purpose in 1.11+. It becomes a haven for campers, rushing becomes a lot less effective, and fights being shorter really doesn't matter anymore...
The protection I'd applied after the depletion. 64% protection for leather and chain and 69% for iton. Diamond is 84.5%. That's 3 hits for non diamond and 6 hits for diamond on normal health.
I've explained this a million times before but here I go again. For every hit point of damage on non-diamond armor, 2% of the armor protection is ignored. So for example when a sharp 1 diamond sword hits iron armor instead of protecting 60% it only protects 44%. The power 5 bow is absolutely...
Reason for this is due to shorter fights and the fact that bows will be unstoppable when we update (they might need a server-wide nerf to be honest)
If you don't like this, enjoy being 1 shot no matter what in normal and 2 shot in OP unless you have 2+ pieces of diamond armor kthxbye
STOP THINKING THAT THERE IS A MAGIC FORMULA FOR PLAYERS AND 1.8 SOLVES ALL OF IT. It doesnt. If version alone decided what people played on, why don't all 1.8 servers have the exact same amount of players? Also, have any of you actually played vanilla 1.12 instead of this broken and glitchy cube...
