Java Brewmaster kit (SW)

Chest:

Brewing stand
Awkward potions(3)
Spider eye(3)
Rabbit’s foot
Glowstone
Gunpowder
Blaze powder (1)
Cow spawn egg
Both mushrooms
Sugar

I removed a few other brewing stuff that I originally included in the suggestion because glowstone, redstone should be obtained via the map. For making fermented spidereyes you need mushrooms and sugar, mushrooms are available on some maps?

I listed out so many items because those are the items necessary for brewing, and I agree with you, not all of these should be added.

The essentials are a brewing stand, redstone, glowstone, water bottles, gunpowder and netherwart. Maybe a fermented spider eye.

Maybe there should be two seperate kits, just like in Eggwars, but a bit different:

1. Buffer: contains all ingedients to make potions with a positive effect*

2. Debuffer: contains all ingredients to make potions with a negative effect*

*Except the ingredients that are available on several Skywars maps

(@A pigeon any ideas?)

I speak for myself when I say skywars is not about taking your time to brew potions these days it's about rushing without thinking strategically, getting what you can from mid and pvping, in order for your kits to be up to todays standards, the kits should just be potion kits with the potions already brewed.

If ingredients were in chests it would be better, because the player with better knowledge would have a far greater advantage

Yes but skywars played differently is pretty fun, I’m not very good as sword pvp so I need to improvise

This is why I’m not making a poll, so I can reply to things like this. Im just listing out some ingredients that could be used in brewery. I listed out so many items because those are the items necessary for brewing, and I agree with you, not all of these should be added.

The essentials are a brewing stand, redstone, glowstone, water bottles, gunpowder and netherwart.

Also people tend to vote according to whether they’ll use this kit or not and not according to whether its a good kit or not. Redstone kit, argueably the best kit in the game is underused.

No because negative potions are obtained by corrupting positive pots, making it completely pointless.

Waste of time, it takes 20 seconds for each brewing step to happen, so it would take at least 1 minute to make a worthwhile potion (barring basic regen or strength, but gapples are better than basic regen I potions anyway). By that time you could have been rushed, or by the time you're finished there could be a refill and the players left just get gapples, better gear, xp for adding prot/sharp levels to their items. Having to brew takes the sting out of the game, also strength II is very OP in 1.9+. More people would use potions if they were found in chests instead of having to brew them from scratch
