Sup kids.
So I have some ideas for Parkour Minigame if they ever decide to re-release it.
I'm too lazy to make a whole introduction so let me just tell you what I have in mind.

Tower Mode
This mode will be different from the classic Parkour Minigame. It will have 3 unique power ups and some new ones too.
- To win this mode you, the player need to climb the tower as fast as possible.
- Not only is there competition between players but the tower will start filling itself up with lava. It should take the lava around 3 - 5 minutes to fill up the whole map.
- PvP will be enabled in this game.
- The higher you are the harder the jumps get and the smaller the platforms are.
A possible design could be the following:

NOTE: I'm not a builder and this is just an example. An actual tower would me much higher.

This game only ends when everyone reaches the top of the tower or has been eliminated.
So if 1 player reaches the top the game will continue until the rest reaches the top or gets eliminated. If everyone has been eliminated the remaining player will still have to reach the top of the tower to win the game.
Players will be rewarded just like Wing Rush.
The first to reach the top gets the most points and exp. The second gets a bit less points and exp and so on.

Now the power-ups:
  • Jump Boost = Gives player Jump Boost 2 for 10 seconds
  • Wall climbing = Gives player the ability to climb walls just like spiders
  • Blocks = Gives player 5 blocks <- this power up is not stackable.
  • Leap = Gives player one leap feather.
  • Levitation = Gives player 5 seconds of levitation.
  • Speed Boost = Gives player Speed 1 for 5 seconds.
*Red power ups means that they will be rare to spawn during a game.

Charged Jumps
Now let explain what charged jumps are.
When the player holds the sneak button their exp bar will fill up. When the exp bar is full they'll get a charged jump. Which is simply a Jump Boost 2 jump. The only downside is that charging up takes a while and if the player stops their exp bar will slowly decrease again.

Possible Maps:
  • Tower - Simply a stone tower.
  • Volcano - Players will have to escape an erupting volcano.
  • Sewers - Instead of lava it will be water.
  • Skyscraper - Just another design.
  • Space Station - In this map players will have to climb an exploding space station. Instead of lava it will be void.
Classic Mode
Classic mode will pretty much stay the same. I only have a few power ups suggestions.
Power ups that already exist:
  • Jump boost
  • Speed bost
  • Invisibility
  • TNT Rain
New power ups:
  • Knockback Stick = Knockback 1 Stick with 1 durability
  • Gravity Grenade = Just like Slime Survival, Gravity Grenades will push away oponents
  • Leap = already explained
  • Blindness = Gives all opponents Blindness for 3 seconds
*Red power ups means that they will be rare to spawn during a game.

Charged Jumps won't be available in Classic Mode. They're only a thing for Tower Mode.

Well I hope people like this suggestion.

I am absolutly loving this idea. It's an pretty originial game, as far as I know
Since this is completly diffrent from the parkour minigame, I think this will get it's own place in the lobby, if it gets added?

Are there any checkpoints by the way?

I love this power-up idea.

Blocks = Gives player 5 blocks <- this power up is not stackable.
Will those disappear? Or not? (Still, love the power-up idea.)

For all the other power-ups: Still lovin' it

Knockback Stick = Knockback 1 Stick with 1 durability
Gravity Grenade = Just like Slime Survival, Gravity Grenades will push away oponents
Even tho, these power-ups are rare, I don't like them. They are in my opinion way to overpowered..

Leap = already explained
Blindness = Gives all opponents Blindness for 3 seconds
Not the biggest fan of leap, but I do like blindness a lot.
By the way: How did you expect this to be in the game? Do you want it to be in a block, or just a item on the ground. Since parkour minigame used blocks only.
But for the leap etc. I can't really imagne a block for those.

I'm thinking of power ups like other games have. Or it could be blocks. An example could be a wool block for leap.

No, it does not. There are different speed mechanics in the air and on the ground. Just like sprint-jumping is faster than normal sprinting, but sprint-jumping is slower than normal sprinting with speed I or II. This is because the speed effect doesn't increase the air speed, I have read this on the wiki too (can't find the source).

But seriously, why the hell not? I'v always liked Parkour Minigame. It's so simple, but really fun and fast-paced. It has been probably one of the first games with power-ups and if they will re-add it, those extra power-ups will defenitely make it more enjoyable than it already was. I don't really know about the tower mode, but since I'm not as evil as you when it comes to removing/rejecting games. Cough... cough... https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/bugcraft-remove-block-band.189548/ cough... cough... I actually would like to give it a try. Or even more tries and not rant the whole game down. (I just found out about it and what's a better place to argue about it than in a suggestion thread that probably won't be looked in by staff).
