Why hello there, have you ever wondered of your friend who has been playing cubecraft for AGES but had nothing to do with their points? Then whats the POINT(haha pun) if you cant do anything with it? My suggestion is that kind of like Tower Defence, you could do /share (player) (points). This would allow players who have no need for points to give them away. Thanks for your time!

I can't see anything against the EULA in this suggestion, however I don't think it would be a good move for the network for the following reasons:
  • Players wouldn't feel the need to play more to get points, if they could just get them off a friend.
  • It would remove the feeling of progression that makes players keep coming back - if people can afford most of the kits and perks etc. straight away (due to having extra points from friends), there's no gradual progression of upgrading their abilities, and the game becomes stale sooner.
  • Points are a kind of reward for players that spend a lot of time playing on the server (seeing as they do give in-game advantages) so many players would feel it's unfair if a new player suddenly gets access to everything that others worked months for - their effort is devalued as the reward becomes ubiquitous.
  • People would likely be constantly asking random players for points which would get very annoying and create a lot of spam.

This has been suggested before, and it will probably not get added.

Probably wont happen.

Like I said before, people wouldn't even try to play a game. They would spam message others for points and what happens if a hacker takes over your account? They would either spend it on kits or share it out with fellow hackers. Also you don't even know who is a hacker or non-hacker. You wouldn't want to share your points with the wrong person
Teamers would also share points with one another and then use their newly brought kits to team in solo gamemodes. -1 Support :/

I cringed so hard at that pun; it was like someone forced me to listen to the sound of two pieces if styrofoam rubbing against eachother. ),:

Since this is against the EULA (Short for: End User License Agreement), which can be found here: https://account.mojang.com/documents/minecraft_eula
this won't get added.
Even if it wouldn't be against the EULA, players play for their points, sharing them would not be a good idea. If you want more points, you need to play (even) more.

What part of it goes against the EULA? Points are just a soft currency, so are allowed to give in-game advantages - surely it doesn't matter how they can be earned, as long as they can't be bought for real money or are rank-exclusive?
