Well like you have a game team Discord (me) and you want to be called

But on Cubecraft you want to be called
[Obsidian] RoboticToast

Everything we suggest give the devs more to do, and they still have quite a bit to do. Should we stop suggesting things?

Exactly this. If youve got an inappropriate username or if you want another you can ask a staff member to change it.

I feel like people would abuse this to have more bad names than change their names to be good...
Plus moderators / admins can change peoples names if they need to in discord.

yeah because it's soooo hard to click on their name once to see their username, very confusing indeed omg i totally can not tell them apart by looking at their avatar
People can already change their name, just not only on this discord. So it is already possible to change the name to confuse people, but it is not possible to change my general discord name while keeping my minecraft username on the cubecraft discord. So if anything it makes it more confuring.
