Just a small suggestion, you should enable on the Discord that you can change your username since some people might have "offensive, weird" names because they have other Discord servers where its allowed.

But I could call myself Jordan on a different discord server while keeping my normal name

I think being able to make a nickname should totally be allowed. I change my nickname on lots of servers, why not here? And I shouldn't have to changed my discord name if it's offensive because you don't allow nicknames.
On topic: I agree what you say, but put in mind that people come up with some pretty toxic names.

Anyway as I see nobody knows what im trying to say, you should enable nicknames on the cubecraft discord because people want other names for other servers.
And stop saying that they could name themselves something inappropriate, as they could also do that with their real discord name.
For everyone who doesn’t know, there is a feature that you can change your name on different servers, (for example my name is Big Momma on whole Discord but on Cubecraft its RoboticToast).

I would say no to this idea , There will be people who will change their name to something inappropriate and a second after that change his name back to something normal. There will also be a lot of people who will try to act like they are youtubers. I get where you're pointing to but their will come a lot more problems with your idea.

true, but you can always block them or just ignore it? Or does that not work too well?
I think allowing name changes can lead to more weird inapropriate names and staff will spend more time changing it over and over again. If there's an inappropriate name then it can be changed once now and for a while.

If people would want to change their nickname they could just do that in the Discord settings, if they have an offensive name staff will change it, if people are able to change their nickname in the server some people will use it for trolling.

And thats why they will get banned for it. What if you want a cool name on Cube but want an other cool name on a different server?
Then they should set their Discord name to the name they want on the Cubecraft server and change it on the other servers, enabling the nickname change perms on Cube is just going to give the staff even more things to do, and they are busy enough already.

Ah yes, change your name and make a nick name on everyone other server you play on. Make's total sense why didn't I think of that?
