Hi guys, my idea is to add /chatcolor command.
Its just to make it easy to chose a collor for premanent use in chat.
Example: typ /chatcolor, menu to chose a color and/or bold, italic, ..., and you have your permanent chatcolor.
(only for ranks hwo have the chatcolor perms.)
Thank you for reading

I think that the chat would be a little bit too messy and it would be harder to separate players chat messages from CubeCraft's messages, which are usually coloured.
So I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. -1

I don't support this idea. This will cause way too much spam and the chat won't even be readable anymore. I like your idea, but people will abuse it and spam with it which causes the chat to not be readable.

I hate reading colour in chat. And there will be like 5 colours going in chat at the same time. -1

Ehh... how exactly does one abuse and spam the chat more if this were to be implemented?
It already happens regardless of formatted chat or not.

I'm not a fan of this, mainly because I hate seeing large coloured messages that are just seeking for attention. A set gray chat is much easier on the eyes compared to unreadable black, painfully bright yellow, almost unreadable dark blue, etc.
Leave the formatting to the "&" function.

I am sorry I have to disagree, Keep in mind players are still able to talk in color chat just by typing this &(Color Number) for example &fHello will make it White, I think It will be not necessary to add as I can very easily just type &4Hello Everyone or &c&lGoodluck &f&land &c&lHave Fun. -1 from me, Goodluck on your suggestion though and have an amazing day :)

I still don't understand what was wrong with this idea, I feel like that because of 1 person reacting negatively, everyone reacted the same. Sad but it still is a good idea in my eyes.

It’s not because one person doesn’t like the idea that everybody dislikes it either. Almost everyone makes good and bad threads, and not everybody has the same opinion as you.

By reading this thread, if feels like a bunch of you are reading into this suggestion thread incorrectly so I will try my best to explain what I believe OP (@xJariBoy) is trying to suggest and if I am wrong, then hopefully they will correct me.

At this moment in time, when you purchase a rank on store.cubecraft.net you get the ability to use colour codes in chat (eg: '&cThis is a sentence in light red.'). This also means that you can create messages with colours literally anywhere. So, if you wanted to be obnoxious, you could indeed send a message like this in the chat: '&aT&bh&ci&ds &ei&fs &0a &1s&2e&3n&4t&5e&6n&7c&8e&9.'.

The feature that this thread is actually suggestion is to add a Setting to allow users that have access to that feature, select via a command (although a menu via the Settings menu would be nicer, a command could also be added) a permanent chat colour for all their future message. You wouldn't be able to select multiple, just one. So if I selected Yellow, then all of my messages would be prefixed with '&e', making my message appear in... Yellow. That's it. This is something you can do anyway, but it's just more inconvenient to have to type '&e' at the start of every message you send in the chat ever.

Hopefully that clears things up and like I said previously, if I am wrong then hopefully the OP can correct me! :)
